One of the best things for me when working with brides is their smile. They are so genuinely happy that they smile with their eyes. Jodi is the perfect example of this.
I came across this whilst editing and wanted to show a little preview.....

A Feeling.
She looked different. The same as always but different. Her complex looked fresher perhaps? She seemed calmer?Happier? her fashion was on point? Maybe her hair straighter than normal? I dont know what it was, but when I looked at my sister she looked different.
A few months ago - February to be exact. I turned to my mum and and told her that I think Lee-Anne is pregnant. She looked at me. Then I heard what I had just said. It sounded daft, how would I know before she knew. But i was genuine - I had a feeling. So I told my sister this as well. The reaction was the same, a stare followed with the 'Im not. When I know, Ill let you know!'' Ane we left it at that.. her looking the same but different and me with my feeling.
But, what do you know..... whilst in Ireland after shooting a wedding I had some missed calls on my phone and a text from Lee-Anne. Before I replied to the calls I read the text ' Hi Auntie Tasha. Please give me a call when you are free.' And then I smiled because I knew my feeling was right!
I am so happy that this year the family will be graced with a new baby...

Happy Birthday Jim
It was our first day in LA. We were staying right on the beach in Santa Monica so decided to check out the pier with the rest of tourists and see what we could find. Even though I knew that you didn't want to, you got these pictures taken because i wanted something to remind us of being there. Something I could keep.
I know that you will be embarrassed when you read this, but they make me laugh!! And thats what you make me do. Every day. I laugh until my sides hurt! I love you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
* I know that these pictures are in incredibly cheesy. But we love it! Right!? ;-)

Alex and Shelley; Wedding
It was her honesty and beauty that he noticed. I'm sure it was some of her Irish charm as well. She spoke her mind and that was what he liked. They met in Ibiza, she had gone with a friend for the summer. He worked there. They fell in love fast, and they fell hard.
Alex took Shelley for a walk up the mountain side one evening wanting to catch the sunset. The sunset that they had seen before. Half way she asked was it really necessary, this climb was big. He said yes. Continuing they they reached the top, the sun was just setting. And she agreed it had been worth it. The timing was perfect. As Shelley sat there watching the sunset Alex pulled out a ring and with a camera in hand asked her for forever in marriage. Shelley she gave him an honest opinion and said yes!
A few weeks ago I flew to Ireland to document Shelley and Alex's wedding. It was a small intimate ceremony. But extremely beautiful. Alex is Sicilian, so only a few family members could make the wedding. The ceremony was held at Newtonards Town Hall and the reception was at the boutique Salty Dog hotel on the Marina front in Bangor.
Alex and Shelley, thank you for letting me document your day. It was beautiful.

Wedding; Lee and Michelle.
When I arrived at the house, the hair styling was under way and the final touches were coming together. Michelle and her whole bridal party were so relaxed before the ceremony, it was such a pleasure to share in the morning of her preparations.
Lee and Michelle are great together. They spent the whole day laughing with friends, and stealing kisses with each other.
Lee and Michele thank you for letting me be part of your special day. You have both have only just started your story together and I know that you are going to have fun for years to come telling it.... . xx
The hair was styled by Martine at Leeds Wedding Hair -she is so lovely and very good!
