Benjamin and Jodi;Wedding.

When I arrived at the house in the morning, everyone was calm and excited. Organisation was in control of this operation ;-)  Jewellery - together, waiting to be worn. Flowers - together, waiting to be held. Dresses- lined up - with name tags - waiting to be shown off.And a bride, smiling, waiting to say I do.

The girls were so much fun to watch getting ready. A quick dance or song could and did happen at any moment (all dancers in their younger years). Lorraine, her mum just laughs and carries on.  She was on hand all  morning with a needle and thread finishing last minute details on the  dresses and keeping a check on everyone.Lauraine, you are amazing.
Jodi's father was not with us that day, he had sadly passed a couple of years before. But the memory of him was every where to be seen. A picture of him in a locket, was sewn on to the front of Jodi's bouquet. Allowing him to still walk her down the aisle.

At the church, Benjamin was his usual self. Calm and collected.Waiting for his bride. After the ceremony Jodi and Ben had arranged for us to take formal pictures in the park. Giving us about 45 minutes to ourselves, with the bridal party. This was perfect, it gives the bride and groom  time alone and time (not rushed) to get some beautiful  images.
The tables at the reception were laid with fresh flowers, and had pictures instead of table numbers of  them, in various locations that were special to them. The seating plan was a map of the UK, and the destination your table. Genius.
After  the wedding breakfast came the speeches. Word of warning to future brides. I may be found behind the lens crying at speeches. Its not uncommon!  Jodi's father had written a speech before he passed, a secret surprise that Lorraine would read to Jodi on her wedding day.It was beautiful and heartfelt.

I cannot say enough good things about  you both. Your family and Friends are testament to your happiness.
Together, Ben and Jodi are better. They are beautiful inside and out, and have a genuine love. One that will last a lifetime. They are writing their own story.Everyday, filling a page with love, life and plenty of laughter. Enjoy your pictures.

  3. Very beautiful wedding ceremony it was. The flowers, cake, table décor and everything is so beautiful that I am not able to get my eyes off of all this. My sister tied the knot at the prettiest convention center in LA. I had found this location for them because they needed a helping hand with the preparations so I offered my help in this way.
